A Big Man Building Big Things
My name is Steven Dawson (but you can call me Stubby. When I was just an infant my father said, "Someday, men will tremble at this boy's mastery of the box model." Now they totally do. Growing up I spent a lot of time taking things apart and figuring out how they worked. I once took my stereo apart and wired it to pick up TV stations.
When I got older I would work all day in the hot sun laying brick with my father and staying up way too late at night writing HTML, CSS and PHP. Finally fed up with it all I finished a day's work and walked into L-3 Communications where I landed my first development gig.
Now I work as a mercenary developer under the studio name Cogsprocket Industries. I've developed for Chipotle Mexican Grill, LessEverything, Coursekit / Lore and currently enjoy a full-time contract with the mega-awesome BountyBuy.
